Welcome to Bin Defender. By using our website or purchasing services from Bin Defender, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before scheduling or subscribing to our services.
1. Services Provided
Bin Defender provides residential trash bin cleaning services to customers located in Lakeland, Winter Haven, Bartow, Plant City, Brandon, and other surrounding areas within Polk County and Hillsborough County, Florida.
Our services may include:
- Trash bin cleaning
- Recycling bin cleaning
- Green waste bin cleaning
- Deodorizing treatments
- One-time cleaning services
- Recurring subscription services (monthly, quarterly, or other plans)
Service availability may vary depending on location and scheduling.
2. Service Requirements
To receive service, customers must ensure the following:
- Trash bins must be empty following garbage collection.
- Bins must be placed at the curb or another easily accessible location.
- Gates must be unlocked and accessible if bins are located behind a fence.
- Pets must be secured during the time of service.
If bins are not accessible, not empty, or blocked, the service may be skipped and may still count as a completed visit.
3. Scheduling
Service days are scheduled based on your local garbage collection schedule and our service routes.
Bin Defender reserves the right to adjust service days or times in order to optimize routing and scheduling.
Customers will receive notification if a service must be rescheduled.
4. Weather and Service Delays
Service may be delayed due to:
- Severe weather
- Equipment failure
- Road conditions
- Safety concerns
If a service must be postponed, it will be rescheduled for the next available service day.
5. Payment and Billing
Bin Defender offers both one-time services and recurring subscription plans.
By subscribing to a recurring service plan, you agree to the following:
- Your payment method will be automatically billed according to the selected plan.
- Payments are processed securely through our payment provider.
- Failure of payment may result in temporary suspension of services until payment is resolved.
Prices are subject to change with notice.
6. Cancellations
Customers may cancel their subscription at any time. If it is after the minimum service listed during sign up, the customer can cancel through their customer portal. If the minimum service has not been met, please call or email at 863-529-3265 or info@bindefender.com.
Cancellation requests must be submitted before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the upcoming service period.
Once a service has been completed, refunds will not be issued for that service.
7. Missed Services
If a bin is not accessible or not empty at the time of service, the visit may be considered a missed service.
Missed services caused by customer inaccessibility may not be automatically rescheduled.
Customers may contact us to request a reschedule, which may be subject to an additional service fee.
8. Prohibited Materials
Bins containing hazardous or dangerous materials will not be serviced.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Chemicals
- Paint
- Construction materials
- Medical waste
- Sharps or needles
- Biohazards
- Excessive loose debris
Bin Defender reserves the right to refuse service if unsafe conditions are present.
9. Property and Bin Condition
While we take care during the cleaning process, Bin Defender is not responsible for damage resulting from:
- Pre-existing cracks or structural weakness in bins
- Normal wear and tear
- Improperly maintained or brittle plastic bins
If a bin appears unsafe to clean, our technician may decline service.
10. Satisfaction Policy
Customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are not satisfied with your service, please contact us within 24 hours of the service date.
We will make reasonable efforts to address the concern, which may include a re-cleaning at our discretion.
11. Website Use
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Bin Defender and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
Bin Defender shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or website.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service provided.
13. Changes to These Terms
Bin Defender reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Updated terms will be posted on this page with the revised date.
